At 10am we left the centre to get the train at 10.27am. The train took us to Manchester. When we first got there we all had a drink and a few crisps. When we had all had a drink and some crisps we walked down to the City Art Gallery in Manchester. We all had tasks to do and I was with my sister and a girl called Sarik. Sarik had been there before and she showed us the way to everything. After we had done what we needed to do we had lunch in a cafe called nexus. I didn't like the sandwiches so after lunch we went to the Chinese Arts Centre. We saw this woman doing this thing which was covering old toys in Gold and the gold was as light as a feather and it was great. My favourite thing was the gold and I wish that I could do that.
Thank you Beth and Lorraine.

Yesterday we had a trip out to Manchester. First thing we did was get the train. We had a fun book to do. Finally we got to Manchester and walked to Manchester Art Gallery but on the way we saw some things. There was a water fountain and we got our camera's out and started clicking away. We were told to look around the place when we got there. We went off in groups and had our fun book to fill in the questions which I very much liked. Then we went to get some lunch at this weird but funky cafe. The food was horrible but it was nice surroundings> finally we went to the Chinese Art Gallery. It was something that I had never seen before. They covered objects in clothes of gold. It was amazing. One thing I enjoyed was the chair at the Manchester art gallery. One thing I didn't like was the food. Then we got back on the train and were home after a fun day.

Yesterday I went to the art Gallery in Manchester and we saw lots of art. We looked for people's names in the Manchester Art Gallery and did a quiz game in the gallery. After that we went to the Art Cafe in Manchester for some lunch. Then we went to the Chinese Arts Centre . They were sticking gold on all sorts of things like teddy bears. I think the gold was good. We went to the station and came back home. It was a great day.

My Review By Luke Latham

Luke decided to do his review as a cartoon. In it he says that he liked the film of the still life which rotted as you pressed the button, the interactive make a landscape feature in the Clore Gallery and the sweets from the Chinese Art centre. He didn't like the food at Nexus Art Cafe.

Yesterday we went to Manchester on the train because we went to see loads of imaginative artwork. The Artwork was amazing. I liked the chair the best. It was wavy and white. It was made of plastic.

At lunchtime we went to a Cafe. I liked the Cafe but not the food. The Pictures in the cafe were cool.

After lunch we went to the Chinese Arts Centre. There was a person making gold objects.

Then we headed back to the train.

Thank you Beth and Lorraine.

Yesterday I was waiting for the train to arrive. I was bored. The train came 20 minutes later. It was my first time on a train so I was really scared. the train started to go and I saw riverside, cows, houses and horses. On the train I had to design a framed art picture with our hero inside. My hero was Michael Jackson and I enjoyed it.

We had to get into our group which was Sarik, Demi and Helen.

On the trip to Manchester I should go to the City Art Gallery because it was very interactive and good for ages 8-14.

I wouldn't recommend going to Nexus Art Cafe because the food was very unusual as English food also it tasted like sea food.
